Acoustic Memories - The Lounge

Archived from August 2005

Out of Sight

I take a deep breath in anticipation of you,
So much time has passed since I have seen your face,
I miss it so dearly.

I ask myself what you have up to since I saw you last,
I wonder what stories you have to tell,
Missing you so dearly.

Out of sight but to my surprise not out of mind,
I think about you, and I wonder,
Just missing you so dearly.

Your voice, your smile, you,
Things I recall,
When I miss you so dearly.

A little of myself I have lost,
A bit of my happiness gone,
Because I miss you so dearly.

There is hope for me still,
I soon will see that face, and I will no longer,
Need to miss you so dearly.
